Directors Statement
The opposed and complementary personalities of the two female directors have emerged in a creative methodology based on deep dialogue. The process seeked to connect the seed, an Andalusian underground film from 1982, with the biological reality that the directors are going through, the end of the fertility years. Facing their maternal instinct, they decided to make a film instead of having children. This apparently free choice hides structural impossibilities for our generation. Our early 21st-century freedom is an illusion.
